The Horseshoe Club meets every Tuesday and Friday for a Tournament among the members. The horseshoe pits are open every day from morning to night for everyone to enjoy (members and non-members). There are horseshoes available at the pits, if anyone needs any. Our expert player, Lyle Olmstead, gives free lessons every Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the pits.
The club has a monthly meeting on the first Friday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in the Mojave Room, preceded by a friendly potluck. The club has evening tournaments throughout the season, playing under the spot lights, preceded by a potluck outside by the horseshoe pits. We have a member tournament in February and a Memorial Tournament in early March for members only.
The club has tournaments with clubs outside of the park, and also has a yearly tournament with the Fountain of Youth club in California. Currently we have approximately 20 members. The cost is $10.00 per person per season.
