All park residents are invited to join the new group called “Country Roads Dance Club.” We meet on Wednesdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Ballroom to learn a variety of country dances. There is no charge and classes are open to park residents only. The only requirement is that you have a partner.
Dances taught are “pattern” dances, meaning that couples line up and follow one another. We are learning El Paso, Rita’s Waltz, Texas Ten Step, Shadow, Cowboy Cha Cha and a new one called The Seashell. Other dances may be taught as the group requests and we may have guest teachers. If you have a dance to share, please contact us.
Dancing engages both sides of the brain so help your brain and your body and get out there and dance!
