The term “blue-eyed soul,” originally coined in the 60s, refers to musicians who were influenced by soul rhythm and blues. Sensational artists such as The Righteous Brothers, The Rascals, Johnny Rivers and Hall & Oates were the cornerstones of this movement, and their music has inspired artists ever since. Bring Back That Lovin’ Feeling features classics including Unchained Melody, Soul & Inspiration, Good Lovin’, Joy to the World and Memphis. Sit back and enjoy this soulfully sensational evening!

Country music in the 1960’s was getting swept up in what became known as the “Nashville Sound”- lush orchestrations with melodic strings and horn sections. There was one group of musicians who wanted nothing to do with that- and they became known as “Outlaws” for playing their music their way. This concert event salutes country legends like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson who relied on their traditional, stripped-down, honky-tonk sound. These were the bad boys of country music, the guitar-slingers of “Outlaw Country.”
