Social media is becoming a major part of society more and more every day, so as an Activity Director I have started networking with acts, artists, and entertainers through Facebook. April Calendar

Activities abound in Country Roads and are geared for our resident's satisfaction. We employ a full time professional Activities Director who works to obtain various activities throughout the year. We also have an Activities Committee (made up of our residents) to help obtain and organize different events. Our winter season is especially busy with concerts, dances, plays, dinners, happy hours, art shows, craft fairs and special events.

We have various clubs in our activities department including tennis, billiards, shuffleboard, golf, sewing, ceramics, quilting, woodcarving, lapidary, computer, horseshoes and volleyball. Each club has an instructor available to help acclimate new members in the activity. We are always looking for new faces and enjoy making new friends.

Dancing and exercise is prevalent in Country Roads and we offer classes and instructions in line dancing, clogging, square dancing, country round dance and country two step. Our exercise classes have instructors and consists of daily water aerobics, lap swimming, water volleyball, along with Zumba, light aerobics, hiking and an exercise room.

Cards and games are abundant in Country Roads, including Bridge, Pinochle, Poker, Pan, Hand and Foot, Mexican Dominoes, Cribbage, Checkers, Chess and many, many more. It never takes long to find a table or enough residents to get one started. In season, Bingo is played every Tuesday night in our ballroom.
